Easter Picnic in Review

The weather was less than perfect- the morning was cool (almost cold) and the sky was filled with clouds that threatened rain at any second. Even so, we had an event filled with games, coloring and eggs, eggs eggs!

This year, TREE provided over 500 plastic Easter eggs filled with toys and stickers as well as 20 golden eggs which had a special surprise inside.  Each attendee was able to dye 10 hard boiled eggs.

With over 70 students and their siblings, our Easter egg hunt this year had over 1,200 eggs! TREE staff and mothers hid the plastic and hard boiled eggs all over Niodori Park.

The rain held off long enough for us to play some outdoor games. We played different kinds of tag, red-light-green-light and threw bean bags at a Easter-themed bean bag board. We brought back the exercise balls for a fun obstacle course that was challenging for everyone from kindergartners to adults.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us! This year was a lot of fun for everyone. We hope to make next year`s Easter Picnic even more successful.
