2012 Adult BBQ

We had a great time at the first Adult BBQ here for 英会話TREE.  I cooked rib-eye steaks and we had many different wine snacks and two 3L bottles of wine.  One red and one white.  The food was great and the company was even better.  At the BBQ we played some English party games and everyone had a good time. Thanks to everyone who made time in their schedule to come and make the event a success.  I can't wait until the next event!!

Summer BBQ 2012 Lunch

7月１４日にサマーバーベキューを行いました。　
梅雨明けする前でしたので雨が心配でしたが、当日は晴れてとても暑く絶好のプール日和となりました。

お昼のバーべキューではマーク先生がハンバーガーを作りました。

クオーターパウンドのパテでボリューム満点！

プールで遊んだり水風船を使ったゲームなので盛り上がりました。

とても暑い日だったのでプールは常に満員状態！　みんな気持ちよさそうに遊んでいました。

Balloon Toss では水風船を保護者の方も参加していただき、風船がびっくりするような長距離を飛んでいました！！

たくさんの人に参加していただき楽しいバーベキューになりました！

来年もまたよろしくお願いします！

Belated School warming Gift

先日、マーク先生のお友達で千葉で英会話教室をやられているSandra先生とKenさんが遊びに来てくれました。　教室や教材、そしてイベントの写真など色々見ていただきました。　その際、素敵な観葉植物をお祝いとしていただきました！　新居に頂くお祝いは英語で"House warming gift"と言います。　なので、学校の場合はSchool warming gift ですね！　素敵なプレゼントありがとうございます！

Katori Jinja Festival

 

Yesterday we went to the festival with some students. It was a great time. We all dressed up and were able to see Shi-shi which were really interesting to watch and listen to all the music played by the local shrine people. It was really good fun. We saw many people there and we look forward to going again next year. This year was the first year my son's wore a Yukata. Before that we always wore Jimbei's. This year I also wore my geta sandals. I like them but they are hard to walk with on gravel. Hopefully next year we will see more of you all there.
