Stockings

For Christmas when I was a child I always had my own stocking that would be filled with candy, chocolate, and little toys on Christmas morning.  This year we have way more stockings for our students than we thought!! Thanksgiving

サンクスギビング（感謝祭）は、アメリカの伝統的な祝日です。サンクスギビングには、家族が集まり、色々な事に感謝の意を表します。

 

今年は、感謝をすることがたくさんあります。まずは、家族の健康。次に、素敵な教室。そして、素晴らしい生徒さんや保護者の方に感謝です。皆さんのサポートのおかげでこの教室は成り立っています。皆さんありがとうございます！！

2013 Halloween pumpkins!!

This year we carved pumpkins! It was a great time had by all.  This year we were also able to have many large pumpkins that lit up the night to make for a wonderful Halloween feeling! 

Balloon Monster!!

My good friend Jef Tanguay who is a semi-pro Balloon artist did a fantastic job helping my decorate the school for Halloween!! He is a very talented man!  His monster creation for the school was a huge hit!  All the Students and parents loved the school decorations.

I highly reccomend him for any party or event you have! 

2013 Adult Halloween party

This was the first year we had a Halloween party for adults.  It was a great time! Everyone who came had great costumes.  We had a costume contest and we did bobbing for apples.  This very traditional activity was really brought to life by the people who challenged to get the apple!  It was really fun and we all can't wait until next year!

2013 Summer School Term 3

This year we studied marine biology for summer school.  The students who participated had a great time!! We learned over 20 different animals and plants in the sea.  The students learned how to make observations of those animals in English!!  For the older students they did internet research on several different types mariene life, then they wrote a short essay in English explaining the life cycles of those animals.  Our students really work hard!!

 

 

Then we went to the Kasai-Rinkai aquarium, for a full day field trip to make observations.  Everyone had a great time and they can't wait for next year!

 

 
 
 

2013 Shaved Ice Party!!

 

For all the very young students, we did a shaved ice unit this summer.  The students learned all the items necessary to make shaved ice.  They all worked really hard to pronounce the more difficult words properly, finally we had a party and made them together!  It was nice and cold in this hot summer heat!!
